Do you deliver to my country?
We deliver to most countries. Please contact us on customercare@songofjewellery.com if you have any queries regarding shipping destinations.

How much does the delivery cost?
We offer free delivery to most destinations in the world!

Why are your prices in US Dollars and payment in GBP?
The currency at checkout is Great British Pounds. While we may show prices in different currencies depending on from which country you are visiting our website, the final payment is processed in Great British Pounds. 

How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery times are generally between 1 and 7 days depending on the customisation requirement of the jewellery piece and your location. Sometimes delivery times may be longer. Please contact us beforehand if you require your item by a certain date.

It says out of stock on the website, is this definitely out of stock?
There is a chance that we will soon have the item back in stock. Please notify us if you are interested and we will try to source the item for you.

Do you have a store in London?
Sorry, you can buy our jewellery online only. The address in London is an office address, not a store address.

Can I change or amend my order once it has been placed?
We usually process your order for dispatch as soon as possible, so you may not be able to make any amendments or cancel your order as it could have already been dispatched. In this instance, you would have to return your order once you've received it, in accordance with our Returns Policy. However, please do get in touch as soon as possible to see whether we may still be able to amend your order.

What is the returns and refund policy?
We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if you change your mind within 14 days, we will offer you a full refund credited to the card used in the original sales transaction. Please note that the jewellery must be returned in perfect condition, and in the original, undamaged packaging. Earrings and engraved items are non-returnable/non-refundable. Please consider taking out a shipping insurance for the value of the item for your return shipment. Please contact us at customercare@songofjewellery.com should you wish to return an item. Please also refer to our Returns Policy.

Can I return sale items?
Of course. The returns period for sale items is the same as our standard returns period - 14 days.

How long will it take to process my return or refund?
We will process your refund within 48 hours of receipt. Your credit card company may take longer to credit your account.

Can sale rings be resized?
Generally yes but it may not be possible under certain circumstances. Please contact us at customercare@songofjewellery.com and we will try our best to customise the size for you.

What is the difference between gold filled, gold plated and vermeil? 
Gold plated jewellery has a very fine layer of the precious gold metal electromagnetically attached to it. The thickness of the gold is only a few microns thick, so special care must be taken and the jewellery should not be polished too vigorously to prevent the plating from wearing out more quickly. Generally, 18ct or 22ct gold is used for gold plating. Gold filled jewellery is of a higher quality by fusing a layer of carat gold to a supporting metal or alloy rather than electroplating it. The bond between the gold and the metal that is thereby produced is permanent and the thickness of gold is a hundred times thicker than that of a gold plated piece of jewellery. Like solid gold, gold filled jewellery is generally tarnish-resistant. Gold vermeil is created by coating sterling silver with carat gold. To be classified as vermeil, the gold also is required to be at least 10ct and 1.5micrometers thick. Also for gold vermeil, the gold layer is very much thicker than for a gold plated piece.
