Where did you grow up?
Durban in South Africa.
What do you love about jewellery?
You can change it with what you are wearing and feeling for the day.
When did you discover your love for jewellery?
On a trip to Mexico, completely by mistake.
How did you become a jewellery designer?
I studied fine art then after my Mexico trip went to study jewellery design.
Describe your style, what is most characteristic about your jewellery design?
It's bold, most pieces are unique and and are made to order, it takes a certain kind of confident person to wear my jewelry.
Which music genre describes your jewellery best?
Alternative country, Indie.
If you could choose one song that describes best your jewellery, which one would you choose?
Talking Heads, Home.
What is your favourite item of your jewellery line?
My enormous rings with beautifully hand cut stones from India.

Describe a typical day in your studio?
It's never typical, I'm never making the same thing so my days are always different and exciting.
How do you make your jewellery?
I hand carve my rings out of wax. My stones generally come from India and I often source antique broaches and odd bits & pieces that I find in junk shops and set them into my rings.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
My surroundings. I live in the most beautiful city in the world!

I'm a ring and necklace kinda girl.
Mountains or beach holiday?
Mmm difficult, maybe beach.
What's your favourite city?
Do you have a favourite jewel that comes with you on all your travels?
A ring i made for my mother many years ago.
